Bookmakers are offering new bets on Kai Wayne Rooney, the son of the Manchester United ace.

Bookmakers are already taking bets on the future of Wayne Rooney's newborn son Kai.

The Manchester United and England star's wife Coleen gave birth to the boy in Liverpool yesterday (November 2nd) and the couple were seen leaving the hospital with the new addition to their family today.

According to the Daily Mail, Rooney was "overcome with joy" when holding his son for the first time.

For punters who expect the youngster to follow in his father's footsteps, William Hill is offering 100/1 on Kai playing Premier League football and 125/1 on him turning out for United one day.

Spokesperson for the bookmaker Rupert Adams revealed that no punter managed to successfully predict the name of the first Rooney child, despite several months of betting.

"We are going to give everyone who had a bet on the name a free bet at 1,000/1 that [Kai] is elected prime minister," he added.

Rooney is expected to miss his side's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford tonight, with Paddy Power offering 4/11 on a home win and 8/1 on victory for the Russian team.
