A new bingo venue is set to open
A new bingo hall is due to open in Windsor next week, it has been reported.The Windsor Star said the former Classic Bingo V hall has been given a facelift and is to reopen as the Breakaway Gaming Centre.
Since being closed in July, the old venue has undergone a huge refurbishment and now boasts 120 touch-screen bingo terminals.
Tony Rosa, president and chief executive of Community Gaming and Entertainment told the publication that he was really excited about the opening.
He said: "It affords us the opportunity to come into the 21st century."
Mr Rosa added: "It gives us the opportunity to stabilise the industry and grown.
The new hall will be able to accommodate 500 and the rows of folding tables and fluorescent lights have been dispensed with
In other news, the Opera Bingo club in Wokingham is due to reopen today (November 25th) after its forced closure due to the Cumbrian floods.
