The casino operator of the year is 888.com, the EGR Awards announced on Monday (November 30th).More than 900 guests were in attendance at the awards, which were held at London's Old Billingsgate Market.
Online publication eGaming Review organised the awards which took place as part of EGR Live, a two-day conference and exhibition for the internet gambling industry.

The awards are one of the most important events in the calendar for the recognition of innovation and achievement in the online gaming industry.
Other winners at the awards included Bwin which took operator of the year at the EGR Awards, while Unibet took the prize for European sports betting operator and the innovation of the year award was given to Gamesys.
888 chief executive Gigi Levy recently dismissed speculation that the company was set to be taken over by Bwin, telling EGRmagazine.com: "We have known Bwin for a long time but there is no truth in these rumours."
