Well Chief Returns As Sports Betting Option

Well Chief could fire up sports betting with his Saturday return at Sandown.

Well Chief is once again an option for sports betting fans this weekend as he takes to the Sandown course for the Keith Prowse Hospitality Tingle Creek Chase.

The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) notes the ten-year-old's recent return to form, having notched up a win at Cheltenham three weeks ago.

His victory overturned the result of the Queen Mother Champion Chase from last March, where Well Chief finished behind Master Minded in his first outing for two years.

Now sports betting for the upcoming weekend could see Well Chief among the liked runners after his victory over Master Minded at Cheltenham.

Owner David Johnson tells the BHA: "I get a daily bulletin on him and he has been swimming this morning."

He adds that the cut sustained by Well Chief at Cheltenham is no cause for concern.
