Liverpool fans will be hoping that their team have turned a corner this season following their 1-0 victory over local rivals Everton on Saturday (February 6th).

The win took the red Merseyside club into the top four of the Premier League and Sky Bet has reacted by providing sports betting fans with the latest odds.

Liverpool have seen their odds slashed from 7/4 and are now available at 5/6 for a top four finish.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "Liverpool have really turned their season around and have gained 17 points from a possible 21 in their last seven league matches. Benitez has told everyone Liverpool will finish in the top four and at the moment his prediction is looking spot on."

Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur managed a draw against Aston Villa at White Hart Lane and now trail Benitez's men by one point in place. They are offered at 4/1 to seal a Champions League place.
