Online bookmakers have Jeff Bridges and Sandra Bullock ranked favourites to take the Best Actor and Best Actress Oscars.
Sandra Bullock is the favourite with the online bookmakers to pick up the Best Actress Oscar in just under a month's time.The 82nd Academy Awards are due to take place on Sunday, March 7th and Bullock is at odds of 8/11 on online bookmakers' sites including 888sport and Boylesports.
Her opponents include Meryl Streep - whose career was arguably reinvigorated by a headline performance in the Abba-inspired movie-musical Mamma Mia! - along with British legend Dame Helen Mirren.

Dame Helen is unlikely to figure highly in the final voting, according to the online bookmakers, ranking as the outsider at odds of 50/1 in some places.
The women's counterparts vying for the Best Actor gong include Morgan Freeman, Colin Firth and George Clooney.
However, they are all at longer odds than former Tron star Jeff Bridges, whose appearance in Crazy Heart has already earned him the accolade of being favourite with the bookmakers, at odds of around 1/5.
