Bookmakers asks: Rooney to head England to victory?

Bookmakers provides odds for England versus Egypt.

Bookmakers William Hill has revealed odds ahead of England's friendly against Egypt tomorrow night (March 3rd).

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been in fine form this season, scoring 28 goals in all competitions - with the last six all being headers.

Rooney is offered at odds of 11/4 to convert a header for his country on Wednesday and 11/10 to fail to score.

The World Cup kicks off in 100 days time and the bookmakers has revealed a special bet which could tempt patriotic punters. Odds of 100/1 are available for England to defeat Germany in the final of the competition with Rooney scoring the last goal of the game for his country.

Meanwhile, the race for the left back position is hotting up following Ashley Cole's injury and Wayne Bridge's decision to make himself unavailable for selection.

Stephen Warnock is offered at odds of 8/15 to make Capello's squad, while Leighton Baines is available at 11/10.
