Bookmakers reveals odds for Brazil versus Ireland.

Sports betting fans may fancy a punt on tonight's (March 2nd) friendly between the Republic of Ireland and Brazil at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

The five-time world champions - currently in second spot in the FIFA rankings - are offered at odds of 1/2 to seal victory, the Republic are available at 5/1 and the draw is 12/5.

William Hill's Irish spokesman Tony Kenny said: "Brazil are one of the favourites to win the World Cup, but they won't get an easy ride against the Irish."

He added that the Irish squad are still hurting from their controversial World Cup qualifying defeat to France and will be keen to show the world that they deserved to go to South Africa.

The bookmakers rate Flamengo striker Adriano as the 4/1 favourite to strike first in the game, while Kevin Doyle is 10/1 to give the Irish a surprise lead.

Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson is available at 20/1 to opening the scoring.
