Sports betting fans asked if Walcott will make it to South Africa.
Bookmakers William Hill has revealed a series of betting specials, including some relating to Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.The Gunner boosted his chances of making Fabio Capello's 2010 World Cup squad with a goalscoring appearance against Burnley at the weekend.
William Hill offers odds of 4/7, cut from 4/6, that the player will make it to South Africa and it is 5/4 that he missed out.
"Theo seems to be hitting form at just the right time and a good Champions League showing might cement his place in the England squad," said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Arsenal tackle Portuguese giants Porto tonight (March 9th) and will be hoping to overcome a 2-1 deficit to progress to the last eight of the Champions League.
Walcott is 11/5 to score at any stage during the game, he is available at 5/1 to receive a yellow card and is 9/4 to get an assist.
