Online bookmakers asks which clubs will beat the drop.

Sports betting fans could have a punt on who stays up.

Online bookmakers Sky Bet has revealed a range of odds relating to this year's race to beat relegation from the Premier League.

This season's relegation battle could be one of the closest fought in history with just five points currently separating 14th and 19th position despite a surprise win for Wigan Athletic against Liverpool.

Bets are off on Portsmouth staying up with the bookmakers, so it rates Burnley - currently in 19th place on 23 points - as the 2/7 favourites for the drop, while 18th-placed Hull City are 4/5 to be playing Championship football next season.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds reminded punters that last season Newcastle United finished in 18th with just 34 points.

He said: "With just nine matches still to play Hull, who are currently 18th, would need a few results to go their way if they are going to finish this season with over 35 points."

Portsmouth are offered at 10/1 to win the FA Cup this season.
