Bookmakers asks: Crouch to top score?

Bookmakers reveals latest set of England World Cup odds.

Sports betting fans could wish to have a punt on which player will top score for England in this summer's World Cup in South Africa.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch has seen his odds slashed from 14/1 to 10/1 following his brace against Egypt last night (March 3rd).

Crouch is now available at odds of 6/5 to start the opening game against the US and 8/13 to fail to do so.

Meanwhile, Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is offered at odds of 9/4 to top score for his country and with the form the player has been in this season few would bet against him netting for England this summer.

Competition is also underway for who will start in goal against the USA, with West Ham keeper Robert Green the 4/5 favourite to be between the posts.

England came from behind to beat Egypt 3-1 at Wembley last night.
