Online bookmakers provides odds for next Coventry City manager.
Online bookmakers Sky Bet has revealed the latest odds for who will become the next manager of Coventry City. The Sky Blues sacked manager Chris Coleman on Tuesday (May 4th) leading to a flurry of speculation from sports betting fans about who would be placed in the hotseat next.
Sky Bet rates former Celtic and West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Mowbray as the favourite for the position and - following a number of bets from the Coventry area - is now offering odds of 4/1, slashed from 12/1 that he takes over at the Ricoh Arena.
Sky Bet's football betting spokeswoman Helen Jacob said: "Judging by the number of bets from the Coventry and Warwickshire area, there must be whispers around the Ricoh that Mowbray is a contender."
Others in contention for the role include Gary McAllister - who the online bookmakers initially installed as 5/2 favourite to succeed Coleman - at odds of 5/1 and former Blackburn Rovers gaffer Paul Ince, who is available at 20/1.
