Regulations that will help to govern four new casinos in Ohio have been backed by one US newspaper. The Ironton Tribune notes the introduction of a state commission that will rule on all four of the developments is a positive one as they each continue to spend on interior improvements.
Other aspects of the law include the banning of alcohol being sold after 02:30 local time and an over-21s only policy.
It also allows taxpayers in Ohio to deduct gambling losses from the cash they pay to authorities, the newspaper explains.
The regulations have been designed to create the optimum casino experience for gambling fans spending a night playing poker, roulette, blackjack and other games.
According to the publication, this is "a step in the right direction".
The bill in question was passed by the US Senate last Friday (June 4th) by a margain of 21 votes to 12.
