Bookmakers Rate Hamilton Second Favourite For British GP

Odds have been released for this weekend's British Grand Prix.

Punters preparing a visit to a sports betting website such as 888sport.com prior to this weekend's British Grand Prix may be interested in the odds.

Briton Lewis Hamilton is rated the second favourite to win the race ahead of fellow countryman Jenson Button.

The McLaren pair are not thought by the bookmakers to be as likely to take the chequered flag as Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, winner of the last event in Valencia.

Vettel is 11/5 with the bookmakers to secure a third win of the season and second in a row, with Hamilton 11/4 and Button 13/2.

Other odds include 4/1 for Mark Webber to win, 5/1 on 2005 and 2006 champion Fernando Alonso, while some may fancy the 28/1 available for Renault's Robert Kubica to finish first.

Hamilton is currently leading the Drivers' World Championship with 127 points, six ahead of his team mate, who leads Vettel, Webber and Alonso.
