Sebastian Vettel is the favourite to win at Hockenheim.
Lewis Hamilton has slipped to odds of 4/1 with one leading bookmakers to win Sunday's (July 25th) German Grand Prix, following a crash in this morning's first practice session. The McLaren driver veered off the track at turn three and collided with the crash barrier, restricting the amount of time he spent at the wheel for the rest of the day as his car was fixed.
Bookmakers believe Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel is now even more likely to win the race and price him at odds of 2/1 to do so.
His team mate Mark Webber is 3/1, while punters looking to back a more unlikely winner may be tempted by Spaniard Fernando Alonso at odds of 9/2.
The double-world champion topped the time charts in today's second practice session, albeit in the wet.
Hamilton is the current championship leader after taking 86 points from the last 100, ahead of McLaren colleague Jenson Button and Webber.
