Millions of dollars are available at the World Series of Poker's main event.
The line-up for one of the world's most prestigious poker tournaments is now known, after a select group beat the competition of more than 7,000 others.Of the 7,319 poker players to enter the World Series of Poker's (WSOP's) main event, currently taking place in Las Vegas, only nine can qualify for the November Nine event.
Starting out in the tournament were 18 former world champions and 150 gold bracelet holders, making up just a fraction of the field that features players from 92 countries.
And, after more than 78 hours of poker over eight days, the final nine have now confirmed their place in the showpiece event later this year.
Americans Jason Sentl, Joseph Cheong, John Dolan, Michael Mizrachi, John Racener and Cuong Nguyen join Canadians Matthew Jarvis and Jonathan Duhamel and Italian poker star Filippo Candio in the line-up.
Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher was a competitor at a previous stage of the WSOP's event earlier this year.
