Teddy Sheringham is in action at the tournament in Portugal.
Some of the remaining 24 poker players in the European Poker Tour's (EPT) Vilamoura event have a distinct advantage over their rivals.Having been allocated to one of three tables for the next play at the event, the likes of Marco Leonzio and Sam Trickett will be hoping to make the most of their advantage.
Italian Leonzio leads the first poker table with 778,000 chips, ahead of Tom Johansen with 521,000 and Robert Cezarescu who has 440,000.
On Table Two, the UK's Trickett has a advantage over his challengers, which include former England and Manchester United footballer Teddy Sheringham.
Finally, the third table is currently being dominated by Swedish poker player Martin Jacobsen with a total of 1,362,000 chips, way ahead of his competitors.
The EPT tournament in Vilamoura comes to a conclusion tomorrow (September 2nd), before the stars head to London at the end of the month.
