Two players will battle for a WSOP title this afternoon.

Two players described by the World Series of Poker (WSOP) as among the best to have never won one of its prestigious titles will fight it out at the final table of the $10,000 buy-in HORSE World Championship today (June 24th).

Fabrice Soulier and Shawn Buchanan are said to be two of the most elite poker players not to boast a gold bracelet on their CVs.

But one of them will break their duck this afternoon when they return to the Rio resort in Las Vegas for the conclusion of the contest.

Today is an unscheduled fourth day of the event and will two of the most respected competitors go head-to-head.

Perhaps illustrating the quality of the final table, other genuine WSOP title contenders were involved until the very end – including Daniel Ospina, Michael Binger and Matthew Ashton.

Should Soulier triumph, he would continue an excellent run of form for Frenchmen at this year's WSOP, as two of his countrymen recently bagged titles.
