WSOP has promised to keep up with the evolution of poker.

The constant evolution of poker in all four corners of the globe is represented at the very highest level – the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

According to the organisation, it has shown a desire to change with the times and its latest World Series in Las Vegas is no different.

It noted that there are many new rulebooks being invented, including some with peculiarities such as the worst hand wins.

While it is impossible to keep track of every discipline, set of guidelines and type of poker, a representation of them all can be found at WSOP events.

For instance, the tour has this year introduced a contest called Ten-Game Mix, where a number of popular events – including No-Limit Hold'em and Seven-Card Stud – are rotated.

Over the weekend, Chris Lee was confirmed as the winner of this inaugural event – the first time he has ever cashed in a WSOP game.

The World Series will run in Las Vegas until July 7th.
