888, the leading online gaming portal, has announced that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Caesars Interactive Entertainment, the US gaming company.It has been revealed that the deal will see Dragonfish, 888's business-to-business subsidiary, work with Caesars to provide an online poker platform.
Once changes to online gaming legislation in the US are introduced, the new platform will go live over the net.
"888 has taken a prudent approach to regulation, which culminated in the successful review conducted by the Nevada Gaming Commission, putting 888 and Dragonfish in pole position for the US market," said Brian Mattingley, the 888 chairman.
"This gives us a strong platform to roll out our cutting edge, turnkey solution to other potential partners as the market opens."
Caesars Interactive chief executive Mitch Garber, meanwhile, praised the influence and approach of 888, saying that the firm is well-positioned to make a big impression on the US online gaming market.
