Some 21,555 gaming industry professionals attended the recent ICE Totally Gaming 2012 event, organisers have confirmed. This is, according to ICE Totally Gaming organiser Clarion Events, a 6.3 per cent rise on the 2011 figure and a 15.4 increase on the attendance levels of 2010.
Reflecting on the impressive rise of the event, Kate Chambers of Clarion told intergameonline.com: "I'm delighted that we were able to mark the great times that have been enjoyed by the industry at Earls Court with an upbeat, confident and successful edition of ICE Totally Gaming."
She explained that one of the key advantages for ICE is that it is recognised as the only event in the world to bring together the online and offline gaming sectors.
In just two years, she explained, attendance levels have grown by around 15 per cent per cent.
And with ICE moving to a purpose-built modern venue at London's ExCeL centre in 2013, Ms Chmabers said that the "outlook is highly positive".
